Who we are, what we stand for — and why we believe that the voices of young Roma in Europe must finally be heard.

Dobar Dan!

Roma youth, leading the way

Serbia is home to one of Europe’s largest Roma communities. With approximately 250,000 to 600,000 Roma people living in the country, many young Roma still face barriers to education, housing and meaningful participation in public life.

What we do

Our services

Serbia is home to one of Europe’s largest Roma communities. With approximately 250,000 to 600,000 Roma people living in the country, many young Roma still face barriers to education, housing and meaningful participation in public life.

Building Civic Labs

We create local meeting spaces where Roma youth come together regularly, explore key issues, and launch initiatives.

Workshops & Trainings

Content-based support on children’s rights, democracy, media literacy, and self-organization — adapted to age and language.

Building Bridges

We connect young voices with local politics, schools, and EU bodies, so their recommendations are heard and acted upon.

Accompanying shadow reports

Participants create child-friendly reports that assess local policies on education and inclusion — and call for improvements.

Transnational exchange

The VOICES network connects young people across borders — through meetings, joint campaigns, and peer-to-peer learning.

Creating visibility

We bring stories, demands, and achievements to stages, conferences, and the media — at European and national level.

Team

The persons behind

A team of educators, activists, and Roma representatives — across six countries. We work participatively: many of our colleagues are part of the Roma community themselves.
