Voices Unheard partners launch the project in Berlin

Partners of the Voices Unheard project gathered in Berlin on 31 March – 1 April 2026 for the project’s official kick-off meeting, marking the beginning of a four-country initiative co-funded by the European Union under the CERV programme.

Hosted by OlamAid, the two-day meeting brought together representatives from Germany, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece and Ukraine to align the project’s vision, implementation approach and first-year priorities.

Participants discussed project management and coordination, research activities, child participation mechanisms, advocacy and communication, while also agreeing on key milestones, responsibilities and joint actions for the months ahead. Dedicated sessions focused on strengthening cooperation across partner countries and ensuring a shared approach to meaningful youth participation.

The meeting concluded with a joint commitment to advancing the project’s mission of empowering young Roma to actively participate in decision-making processes and contribute to more inclusive policies and communities across Europe.
