About the project
Voices Unheard project aims to empower Roma children and young people, particularly girls, to actively participate in democratic processes, understand their rights, and drive positive change within their communities.
Despite existing frameworks, many Roma children and young people across Europe still lack opportunities to participate in the decision-making processes that shape their daily lives.
To address this, we establish sustainable participation mechanisms, promote digital inclusion, and provide accessible training in advocacy, public speaking and democratic literacy. By bringing together young Roma and young people from other vulnerable groups, we foster social cohesion and create inclusive children-led spaces where every voice is heard.
